Who are we?

Alan’s School of Motoring (Chelmsford) is a part of Alan's Driving School which has been established since 1980 and is one of the largest independent driving schools in Essex & Kent.

Our highly prized reputation is based on providing very high standards of driver training and customer service. Our motto is “We care about your driving” which means that we are here to help, guide and advise you of the best possible ways of learning to drive safely for Life!

We work with the Driving Standards Agency, Road Safety Departments, Colleges & Schools, and take part in various special projects including "Chelmsford Road Runners 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008" organised by the Chelmsford Road Safety Department and "Braintree RoadRunners 2007" organised by the Braintree Road Safety Department.

What is our Objective?

Is to promote your driving confidence and to teach you safe driving techniques, that will provide you with the skills and abilities not only to assist you in passing your driving test, but to keep you safe on our busy roads for the rest of your driving career.
